Lebkov & Sons is a minimalistic, down to earth digital nomad hub right next to the entrance of the Central Station of Rotterdam. With seven locations in the Netherlands, Lebkov has become indispensable for many coffee and sandwich lovers in the country. Its characteristic interior design (all the way from Paris!) can be recognized in all the Lebkov venues, creating a homely vibe, wherever you are. Today we visit Lebkov & Sons in Rotterdam.
Welcome to Lebkov & Sons
After a little scan at all the venues on the large square in front of the station, I found Lebkov easily, on the corner just outside the entrance. It is located in the iconic building of the Groothandelsgebouw. The large windows and light interior made it very appealing to walk inside. I was welcomed very friendly at the entrance and was shown some of the possibilities to get seated. And even though this place isn’t the biggest in town, there are plenty of seats that also have power plugs. Order yourself something comforting at the bar, and find a seat to get some work done.
Coworking space at Lebkov
There are seats downstairs at the large windows, for those who like to wander off a bit while watching the huge variety of people in Rotterdam getting in and out of the Central Station. There are also some quieter seats on the first floor, for those that need full concentration. The tables are big enough to plant your laptop, fit your coffee and sandwich. The artsy decorated cement seats are fixed though, but there is room for groups up to 6 people. Power plugs aren’t available for every seat, but there are definitely enough for the ones in need of some juice. On sunny days you can also enjoy the outside terrace.

Vibes at Lebkov & Sons
The chairs can be experienced as either comfortable or a bit awkward, I guess it depends on the vibe you’re in. The neat and minimalistic designer interior make it easy to stay focused on your work, as well as the softly played groovy tunes throughout the venue. The large windows make the place bright, even on the most drizzling, darkest days of the year (Yes I was there). The overall vibe in Lebkov was relaxed, mostly due to the large amount of people either working remotely or studying here.
Services at Lebkov
The large bar in front of the venue showcases the food options clearly. What you see is what you get. Cutely packed sandwiches are the (very affordable) rockstars of the menu. Made with the original Lebkov Bread recipe. Other comforting and homemade bites can be found here. Their menu is completed with delicious coffees and freshly squeezed juices.
The WiFi in Lebkov is very good and stable, with 51 download mbps and 19 upload mbps. The WiFi password can be collected at one of the friendly baristas. If you want, you can work here all day without being disturbed or the obligation to order from their menu all day long. Lebkov & Sons opens every morning at 7am, so you can start your day early or get some work done before other appointments.
