One of Amsterdam’s favorite coffee spots to work from is Monks Coffee Roasters. For those that don’t want to spend the day in a café, but still want to have a productive day surrounded by other digital nomads and local students, this is the place to be. There are numerous spaces to work from and it is, just like a library should be, very quiet. There are power plugs everywhere to charge your gears and you will find a small restaurant on the top floor where they sell coffee and sandwiches. What is the catch? They do ask for a small fee per year to become a member and make use of their outstanding WiFi.

Rum Baba is at first sight just an ordinary little coffee-shop with outstanding brews and lovely pastries and cakes. But this place has become one of the favorite places for digital nomads in Amsterdam to work from remotely. It’s probably because of the homey interior and great atmosphere, making it one of the ‘gezelligste’ (coziest) places to work in Amsterdam.

Last but not least, we’d like to introduce Vascobelo V-Bar, a franchise with Belgian roots scattered around Europe trying to create the characteristic 20’s great Gatsby feelings throughout their cafés, as well as keeping the Belgian culture alive. A great concept, but mostly a great place to nest yourself all day with your laptop! Vascobelo serves their famous coffee and offers a wide range of meals throughout the day. It’s a little out of the center, but definitely worth to go to when you’re in the neighborhood.
