Why it stands out?
This sunny traveller’s lodge stands out for quite some reasons. The most important one, for us remote workers, is the included breakfast and coffee (!) throughout the day. The hostel has a lovely lush courtyard with a shimmering swimming pool and a braai area with a bar. The perfect place to hang out after a hard day of work. Next to this, weekly braai nights are offered. And if you feel like a little adventure, you can book tours straight from the hostel.
Type of rooms
There is a great variety of rooms available at A Sunflower Stop. The dorms have 6 or 8 beds to share. For more privacy there are single rooms, economy double rooms, twin or double rooms with shared bathroom or ensuite bathrooms.
Tips
Go for a promenade walk for a sunset session, stretching from the lighthouse at the Greenpoint park to the food court next to the Sea Point Pavillion. Enjoy some boerewors rolls with ocean views or head out to the Mojo Market for live tunes and delicious meals.
On Wednesday evenings there is the Oranjezicht Market next to the V&A Waterfront, just a little walk from A Sunflower Stop. Try all the different local dishes that Cape Town has to offer and enjoy the friendly vibes.
