The Old Foundry Hotel is located in the center of Cape Town in the lovely and safe area of Greenpoint. Within 10 minutes walking distance you will find the famous shopping and eating heaven V&A Waterfront. 10 minutes walking into the other direction will bring you to the city center, with numerous bars and restaurants and bustling streets. A great location, with easy access to the highway that brings you to the airport.

Type of rooms

The rather small boutique hotel has three types of rooms. The ‘standard’ Bijou Rooms, the Studio Rooms and the large Master Suites. All rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture and local artwork. The rooms come with a work desk, coffee and tea facilities, bathrobes and a mini bar.

Would you like to go for a run or a nice sunset stroll? Head towards the 5km long boulevard from Greenpoint to Seapoint. The perfect place to unwind and empty your mind.

A short Uber ride or even a (cheap) bus ride will take you to the beaches of Cape Town and Camps Bay.
